Christmas & The Kingdom of God – Mark 4:26-34
Main Idea: Jesus came so that you could experience the Kingdom of God. The seed of the Gospel comes to life in your heart, and you cannot explain how it happened. (v. 26-29) The seed of the Gospel will flourish more than you could ever imagine in your life. (v. 30-34)
How does someone come into the family of God? – Mark 3:31-35
Main Idea: Being a part of the family of God is not a right or through any circumstances other than faith in Jesus leading to obedience. Man’s idea of access to God. (v.31-33) Jesus’ way of how to have a relationship with God. (v. 34-35)
The Unpardonable Sin – Mark 3:22-30
What is the unpardonable sin and how does it happen? Main idea: The unpardonable sin begins with a hardened heart that witnessed the work of Jesus but attributes it to Satan and is thus unforgivable.
What does it look like to be a disciple of Jesus? – Mark 3:13-21
Main Idea: A disciple’s life is marked by a call to follow Jesus to fulfill His mission. A disciple has to come to Jesus before serving Jesus. A disciple of Jesus has a mission. A disciple of Jesus will face rejection.

Main Idea: Jesus’ authority is over the most sacred. The Accusation The Defense The Verdict
Old Wineskins & A New Way – Mark 2:18-22
Main Idea: Jesus came to bring a new and better way to the Father. Our salvation should be a joyful experience. Our salvation should be based completely on the work of Jesus.
The Tax Man’s Lunch Party – Mark 2:13-17
Propositional Question: What type of person did Jesus come to save? Main Idea: Jesus came to save those that need Him. The Unlikely Candidate (v. 13-14) Those Outside of the Religious Circles (v. 15) The Spiritually Sick (v. 16-17)
